Green Initiatives

We here at Twenty70 love the Earth and continuously do everything we can to make our efforts green and lessen our carbon footprint. We only have one Earth and we must take care of it. This page lists some of the ways that we have gone green.

Paperless Billing All invoices and receipts are electronic, available for viewing within your Client Dashboard.

Our Servers are aligned with the hot-isle/cold-isle method thus decreasing how hard the air conditioners need to work to keep the datacenter at optimum temperature.

Paperless Workspaces Pretty much everything is done online and communicated via e-mail and/or workspace software. This not only decreases the need for paper but decreases the amount of energy used needed for printing and the basics of simply delivering toners and other printer supplies.

Remote Staff Having an office is spiffy but then you’d have to drive and waste all that gas and release all those pollutants just to hop online to do work you COULD do from home. We’ve decided that having staff work remotely not only cuts down overhead (savings for you!) but takes that many cars off the roads. The only time we drive for work is when we go visit our servers at the datacenter.

We’re not colocated in an accredited “green” datacenter, but we do take initiatives to lessen our impact globally. We believe these small efforts should not be discounted because everything, little or big does matter in the end.
